More about you and your role
You will be a trained teacher with experience in teaching all elements of needlework to adults of all levels - we are looking for a tutor experienced in teaching either Making Clothes, Patchwork & Quilting or both. We potentially have 2 vacancies.
Your students will range from complete beginners to the more advanced and experienced, and you will be expected to design a suitable scheme of work for all requirements.
Your classes will be engaging and informative, guiding students to make either specified pieces or projects of their own choice. Our adult classes are run with a "Learning for Pleasure" emphasis.
This is an exciting opportunity to start some completely brand new classes at the Elmbridge Xcel Leisure Centre and you will need to be able to travel to the centre to teach on a weekly basis.
