The social work team undertakes all Care Act, Safeguarding, MCA, and Statutory Social Work tasks. The Social Worker will be expected to have the necessary skills to: Complete Care Act Assessments, with Care Planning and arranging Social Care packages. Complete Placement and Community reviews of existing service users in placements/community. Complete Safeguarding screenings, enquiries, and reporting, arranging positive outcomes. Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest Decisions. Lead work to Court of Protection if necessary/appointeeship. The Social Worker is expected to have good statutory social work knowledge. Social Work skills and experience are crucial, and a good working knowledge of Mental Health and possibly previous statutory Mental Health Social Work experience will be valuable, though not necessary. Primary Records used are Mosaic for Statutory Social Work records and work, and ePJS for clinical records. Eden Brown Synergy is an equal opportunities employer.
