Seeking Advance Technology Subject Matter Expert with Senior Level experience. Strong background in Defense Acquisition Engineering policies and activities supporting acquisition programs to support customer in Stafford, VA.

Duties include:

Provide expert knowledge of and demonstrated experience in developing proposals and garnering support for technology initiatives that benefit acquisition programs. Ability to work on and communicate effectively at high levels, both orally and in writing, across a wide range of Science and Technology (S&T) and Advanced Technology communities and programs. Well versed in S&T programs such as Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR), Rapid Innovation Fund (RIF), Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve (RDER), Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD) and other technology forums. Demonstrated experience and success in transitioning technology into acquisition programs of record to increase reliability, reduce technical risk, and otherwise benefit developmental and fielded systems. Understands the acquisition environment and able to articulate program needs. Develop and revise appropriate level acquisition engineering documentation. Develop reports, briefs, and documentation related to programs in the portfolio. Assist with the development of technical specifications. Develop Technical Review Action Plans and participate in all aspects of Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) process. Perform advanced technical work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing, integration/interoperability, operation, and maintenance of systems/subsystems/components and equipment. Travel and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in engineering or other technical/scientific discipline; years relevant experience commensurate with required level: Senior – Level: 10+ years of relevant experience; +5 additional years combination of education, professional training, or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Equivalent to practitioner tier DAWIA in ETM or T&E functional areas. Experience with SETR events and related documentation are required. Expertise/experience with Science and Technology (S&T) and Advanced Technology communities. Expertise/experience with Defense Acquisition Engineering policies and activities. Expertise/experience developing and evaluating proposals. Experience in transitioning technology into acquisition programs. Experience with S&T programs such as Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR), Rapid Innovation Fund (RIF), Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve (RDER), Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD). Experience with MCSC policies, processes, and environments and in developing acquisition documentation to support programs in achieving required milestones/events are required. Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team of Government and non-Government stakeholders is required. Excellent MS Office skills are required. Exceptional interpersonal skills, “go-getter” attitude, and a passion for the Marine Corps mission are required. Strong oral/written communication skills, and analytical capabilities are required.

Active DoD Secret Clearance Required

Salary Range - $120,000 to $150,000 based on experience
