What we offer:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Automation and Control Engineering Apprenticeship. The apprenticeship programme will ideally be suited to someone who has successfully completed an Engineering Apprenticeship and has studied and passed a Level 3 Engineering qualification. It may be that you are a newly time served apprentice and are now seeking the next stage in your career. This Advanced Apprenticeship programme will be split between attending college and on-the-job training and assessments. During the programme, the apprentice will gain a Level 4 Automation and Control or equivalent qualification, whilst also gaining valuable on-the-job practical experience. Apprenticeships are also a vehicle by which ADM will raise its skills base and a means of ‘downloading’ the skills and knowledge of existing members of staff, by having them act as mentors to the apprentices. During the program, you also learn the values and competencies important to ADM, with the aim that on completing the apprenticeship you are able to continue on a career path within the organisation. Your profile and entry requirements:

It is essential that you have successfully passed an Engineering Level 3 qualification and that you have already gained engineering work experience. It is preferred that you have served at least three years in an Engineering Apprenticeship. We may consider someone with 3 A levels, including Math’s and a Science/Technology A level. Consideration will also be given to recent time served apprentices who wish to develop into this field. A genuine passion for Automation and Control engineering. Dedicated and enthusiastic individual, who can demonstrate strong team working, problem-solving, planning, time management and communication skills. Our offer and Your Future Perspective:

An attractive remuneration package, including a variety of social benefits such as subsidized health & fitness offers. A company culture which promotes continuous learning and diversity. Excellent career opportunities in a world leading nutrition company. Challenging tasks, short decision-making processes and a high level of personal responsibility in a modern work environment with flexible work time models. Room for innovative thinking and growth with the possibility to manage your own career path. To assist with cultural diversity, all colleagues are able to join our Women’s and Multicultural Employee Resource Groups, and the ADM Pride Employee Network and the Young Professionals Network. As well as the company wide mentorship programme as mentor or mentee. Additional benefits and support for maternity and paternity leave. ADM are an advocate of having a workforce who are aware of their mental health. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and value diversity at our company to encourage a diverse range of perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge within our business. To assist with this, the Company has established a UK Diversity forum to support participation of underrepresented groups in the workplace. If you feel this job is for you, unlock your potential and apply now online informing us about your earliest possible entry date and salary expectation.
