Working alongside clinical colleagues you will be integrated into the multidisciplinary team to support all the pharmaceutical needs at ward level, and be proactive in provision of timely evidence-based advice to prescribers to enhance patient care and promote cost-effective use of medicines. The post-holder would participate in a rota to cover Clinical Pharmacy wards & dispensary duties. Supervision, mentoring and training of junior colleagues will also be a major component of the job. In addition, the role will require the ongoing completion of core directorate activities including analysis of medicines expenditure, clinical governance audits, service improvement projects and risk management. Post Graduate MSc/ Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience Member of the GPhC Experience
Experience as clinical pharmacist in specialist area Ability to work in a highly specialist area Proven track record of competence. Evidence of clinical audit, practise research, implementation of procedures, protocols Aptitude and Abilities
