Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit a Band 7 (trainee-working towards attached job description) or Band 8a (qualification achieved) ACP in Cardiology. Applicants are welcome from nurses, ACPs, physiotherapists, paramedics and pharmacists. This post will be based within United Lincolnshire Hospitals with the base open to negotiation. All our ACPs are employed Trust wide and expected to cover 'non-base' sites if required. The post is full-time and involves shifts, weekends and nights. The successful candidate will be expected to support our primary percutaneous angioplasty programme (PPCI) and will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in arrhythmia, heart failure and chest pain services. They will also take part on the 'on call' rota and will receive an additional on call supplement. We are research active and also offer the opportunity for Clinical Academic rotation (fellow, reader, chair) to the right candidate. About us

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire.
