The Urgent Treatment Centres across Sefton and Knowsley are recruiting for Advanced Clinical Practitioners. This is an exciting opportunity for practitioners to practice at an advanced level in a fast-paced environment and rewarding role. You will be the Advanced Clinical Practitioner on duty to advise and support clinical decision making and function as the point of escalation as shift coordinator. You will have responsibility for taking charge of the shift and supporting management of service provision in the absence of the Services Leads. The post holder must show commitment in supporting and in the development of others to ensure a consistent, quality-driven delivery of service, mentorship, and clinical supervision. Main duties of the job

You will be expected to work autonomously, be highly motivated and deliver an advanced level of clinical practice within the recognised remit, working within the local and nationally agreed frameworks for Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP). Within the role, you will be applying your advanced skills in history taking, extended assessment, clinical examination, clinical diagnosis, treatment as appropriate and referring on to other services if required. To be professionally and legally accountable for all work undertaken to practice at an advanced level of professional autonomy and accountability that is within Trust policies. Deliver and participate in the clinical care of patients accessing the walk-in centre. Prioritise workload and clinical interventions as appropriate. To appropriately assess, examine, investigate, diagnose, and treat patients, resulting in the safe management and appropriate referral or discharge of patients. Person specification

Registration with relevant clinical body Full master’s in advanced clinical practice (ACP) V300 Non-medical prescribing Knowledge Experience

Working autonomously in an advanced role Proven leadership skills Community experience working within a multidisciplinary led environment Skills
