An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Digital Badge Holder) to work alongside our friendly, established team of staff based in Wymondham, Norfolk. Pay: Dependent on Experience (ARRS Funded) Main duties of the job

Supporting the practice by being one of the duty clinicians alongside other ANPs and GPs. General health and wellbeing promotion as well as creating individual, person-centred plans for patients with, or at risk of, long term conditions. Prioritising health problems and intervening appropriately, to assist the patient in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care. Providing and evaluating a range of health interventions to ensure that patients' health and social care needs are met. Meeting the needs of patients presenting for opportunistic wound care. Practicing autonomously as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner providing patient-centred clinic care. Processing and communicating results of tests to patients and ensuring that a care plan is in place. Maintaining accurate, up-to-date patient records on the practice computer system (SystmOne). About us

You will work alongside a team of Nurse Prescribers, Practice Nurses, and HCAs supported by a team of GPs and Physician Associates as well as non-clinical practice staff. Delivering a high standard of patient care as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in general practice, using advanced autonomous clinical skills, and a broad and in-depth theoretical knowledge base. Working flexibly and in collaboration with the GPs and other health professionals to provide comprehensive healthcare sensitive to the needs of the local population. Managing own clinical workload in general practice, working within professional boundaries, responding effectively to patient needs and ensuring patient choice and ease of access to services. Providing education and training of students and other colleagues. Proactively supporting future development of the practice and sharing the Practice values of Excellence, Responsibility, Integrity, Development, and Commitment. Working according to practice protocols and guidelines, delivering care independently and in collaboration with GPs and the wider practice team. Being responsible for the daily delivery of practice nursing service on a dedicated site and working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice to the practice population. Working independently to provide and maintain a high professional standard of nursing care in adherence to all Practice protocols/policies & guidelines, as well as providing nursing assistance, where required, to other members of the primary healthcare team. Being flexible in line with the present atmosphere for change within health service delivery, ensuring the nurse works within their level of competency and expands their role in accordance with practice requirements and own scope of practice. Experience

Experience of working autonomously and being flexible with daily demands. Demonstrated critical thinking within a safe clinical decision-making process. Ability to carry out clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. Ability to assess and create treatment plans for patients and prescribe medication where required. Experience of using own initiative. Experience of dealing with public/patients. Practical experience of computerised clinical systems. Involvement in mentoring/teaching students. Experience of working within a General Practice. Experience in wound care, long-term conditions, smears, family planning, vaccinations, travel health promotions, health checks, and B12 injections. Experience in managing the health needs of women presenting for sexual health and contraception, and cervical cytology consultations. Experience with Asthma or Diabetes. Knowledge and Skills

Qualifications

Holds a Digital Badge. A relevant nursing degree or master's. Current NMC registration with an active PIN. Current UK driving licence. Demonstrated commitment to professional development. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
