Advanced Pharmacist focuses on following an induction period your time will be split between working in the acute hospitals and within primary care.
What the role involves
- Following an induction period your time will be split between working in the acute hospitals and within primary care.
- Within primary care, amongst a variety of roles, you will be working with GP practices to assess prescribing and using quality improvement methodology to support changes in prescri.
- You might be a nurse or doctor, maybe you specialise in a health science/therapy or can offer skills in one of our support services - we have a job for you.
Skills and requirements
- Postgraduate Diploma or other relevant qualification/equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of medicines management issues across primary, acute and domiciliary care settings.
- Working knowledge of prescribing software (CASPA) and GP in-practice clinical systems.
- 3 years post registration experience.
