An opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Physiotherapist/Nurse in Lymphoedema at University Hospital Crosshouse. What you will do: We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and knowledgeable individual with a genuine interest in and commitment to the care of patients with lymphoedema/chronic oedema. Experience in caring for lymphedema, oncology, palliative, vascular, or dermatology patients would be advantageous. A qualification in chronic oedema management would also be desirable, but candidates without the relevant training will be considered, and full training will be provided. The post can be considered for a trainee opportunity. During your trainee period, you will be expected to do a combination of formal (attending postgraduate courses at Glasgow University) and on-the-job training, which is expected to conclude after 18 months. Knowledge, training, and/or experience required to do the job: Pre-reg MSc/BSc in Physiotherapy, BSc in Nursing, or equivalent Substantial and varied clinical experience with significant experience of working within a relevant specialty at an advanced level Postgraduate training in Lymphoedema management (or working towards/willing to undertake this) or experience equivalent to a Masters Level Relevant Postgraduate Courses (Management of Chronic Oedema) Formal appraisal training experience UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
