Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity at 24-Hour Hospital for an advanced practitioner in surgery
Salary: £74,000 - £102,000 per year
The Opportunity: Join this dedicated team at the state-of-the-art 24-Hour Hospital. Supported by a strong clinical nursing team and led by a newly appointed Practice Manager and Head RVN, this purpose-built facility includes cutting-edge equipment like a digital x-ray, ultrasound, CT scanner, and in-house laboratory. With 3 large consulting rooms, 2 theatres, and expansive learning and office spaces, it’s the ideal place to advance your career. You’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the veterinary team and ensuring top-quality care for patients. Your leadership and clinical skills will drive the continued success of the practice and foster growth for your team and yourself. We offer a full-time working pattern of 4 weekdays and a 1 in 6 weekend rota.
Your Skills and Experience:
RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with CertAVP in Surgery. Ability to perform TPLO/TTAs, spinals, fracture repairs, and complex soft tissue surgeries. Strong clinical leadership, mentorship, and teamwork skills. Experienced in fostering a positive clinical culture and coaching your team to success. The Location: Nestled on the edge of the Pennines, boasting stunning countryside views and charming stone-built villages. This picturesque region, with its flatter landscape, is perfect for exploring on foot or by bike. Rich in wildlife, the area features beautiful nature reserves such as Blacker Wood and Cliffe Wood, offering a tranquil backdrop to a fulfilling lifestyle. With excellent food, shopping, and entertainment for all ages, this is truly a place of beauty and adventure. Close to Sheffield and Rotherham for nightlife and shopping.
Relocation Package Available: We offer relocation support for those moving more than 60 miles from their current UK address or relocating from outside the UK.
