Your mission at LINDAL

LINDAL Group requires an experienced and determined Quality Engineering Professional (m/f/d), with a proven track record in the successful delivery of technical Product Realisation projects into the LINDAL manufacturing site or choice.

Working within the consumer packaging industry, you will be expected to grow and develop strong customer relations, to ensure end use expectations are translated into products. You will contribute to the development of the New Product Introduction process, to ensure Quality is designed into the product, and onwards into the processes used to realise the end product solution. You must Champion the application of Quality Principles within the New Product Introduction process, and work closely with the Team to ensure this mindset is applied at all times.

You must possess the necessary skillset of a Quality Professional, being able to apply yourself to a wide variety of situations from an end-to-end perspective, dealing with suppliers, manufacturing processes, through to the customer. Your knowledge of Quality Systems, Tools & Techniques is essential towards success.

In doing so, you continually contribute to our growth through the successful launch of new product portfolios. You must be a talented communicator who enjoys dealing with many different people and always have an open ear for customers and their needs.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure effective collaboration with project teams when introducing & qualifying new products, through to project completion & handover to local sites

Collaborate with GIC (R&D), NPPI (Industrialization) and local Operations Teams (Mass Production) to ensure an effective handover of new product to local site

Work closely with the local site Quality Function to ensure the effective integration into the local site

Maintain oversight of the successful completion of qualification of new equipment & process approvals, at all stages operated, i.e. FAT, SAT

Handover all quality systems and controls relating to the new product & process in a manner that is easily transferred into the local site

Always maintain a right-first-time mindset

Ensure Customer Requirements are reflected within all phases, i.e. early phase design through to industrialization

Continually improve the Quality Management System supporting new product introduction to ensure Customer Requirements are met through the operation of efficient & effective processes

Lead problem solving activities, to ensure actions are taken in an effective and timely manner

Work within project timelines and provide timely updates, where necessary, create and manage sub-project timelines specific to Quality

Apply a structured approach using quality tools & techniques e.g. Ishikawa, 5-why, 8D etc.

Collaborate with suppliers involved in the introduction of new products

Ensure metrology requirements are defined early in the design stages & onwards in the product realisation phase

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally

Your Profile

University or professional qualifications in Quality, Engineering, Science or related discipline. Number of years’ experience 5-10 as a Project Leader, APQP Manager or a similar function

Any other qualifications towards relevant areas e.g. Six-Sigma, Auditing, Problem Solving, Change Management etc. preferred

Knowledge of Quality disciplines including Costs of Quality, Quality Monitoring, Quality tools & techniques, and Statistical analysis

Good experience in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

Good understanding & ability to communicate in English language

Manage and encourage change

Team player and strong communication skills with internal and external parties
