Advanced Recovery Practitioner , responsible for City and Hackney Tier 4 Detox and Rehab pathways and placements, reporting directly to the Deputy Operations Manager, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support who are experiencing difficulties from drugs and alcohol use. Advanced Recovery Practitioner , we offer a starting salary of £29,758 rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, rising to £34,812 per year + £3,633 ILW. (Dependent on experience you may be offered a starting salary above the initial starting salary). Role Responsibility

Develop and share understanding of different type of residential treatment philosophies e.g - 12 step, CBT. Assess service users against a set criteria and match them to therapeutically appropriate residential treatment centres, whilst working in a collaborative manner. Develop and share knowledge of what residential treatment is like on a day-to-day basis, including how programs are typically structured, rules and expectation. Effectively prep and plan aftercare and contingency management for service users going into treatment. Produce progress reports. Establish communication link with National Tier 4 Lead. Support collection of admission and discharge data (also financial data regarding purchase orders where/if applicable). Provide a holistic response to individual need by using navigation skills to build recovery capital. Use Motivation Interviewing skills to engage individuals. To work in a trauma informed way to help individuals understand and live with trauma. Co-ordinate the panels to assess tier 4 applications including external partnership input. Support all staff to understand the process of preparation and placement of clients in tier 4. Support staff and service users to ensure that there are robust after care plans in place for all tier 4 placements. Support/Training
