part time 15 hours per week . This exciting role is at the heart of this dynamic, expanding community-based team, working in Harrow. Main duties of the job

This post is open to dynamic nurses or physiotherapists who would like to work in an exciting newly developed service providing community respiratory care for patients with a variety of chronic respiratory disease and respiratory failure in the Harrow catchment area. The post holder will join a flexible multi-professional team of nurses, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and clinical administrators to provide respiratory complex patient case management, pulmonary rehabilitation, oxygen, and primary care education in line with national guidelines and best practice, to patients in their own homes, virtually or in clinic settings. The post holder will be required to work flexibly to provide a 9 am - 5 pm weekday service in the community health care settings in Harrow, and across the Trust. About us

Education/Qualification

Registered Nurse with current UK NMC registration / Current AHP with UK HCPC registration Educated to Post Graduate Level in Respiratory Physiotherapy or an equivalent combination of Degree, short courses, and experience Demonstrate a commitment to Personal and Professional Development with evidence Membership of special interest group- ACPICR/ ACPRC Experience

Nurse/ Physiotherapist - Minimum of four years post-registration within more than one clinical environment. Recent experience of acute respiratory or chronic care. Experience in leading a pulmonary rehabilitation programme Experience in physiotherapy specific interventions including airway clearance, breathing control / breathlessness management, relaxation, and anxiety management techniques Experience of Clinical Supervision Experience of working collaboratively with a variety of agencies and professionals Experience of teaching patients and carers High level of knowledge of NMC / HCPC Professional Codes and Standards Knowledge of Clinical Governance and its implications for practice Good understanding of various National Guidelines for COPD, Oxygen, and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Asthma, NIV Experience, understanding, and application of research Skills & Knowledge

High level clinical skills and peer credibility with evidence of initiating improvements in care Ability to work autonomously and be able to influence, manage, and achieve objectives Ability to perform and interpret spirometry Ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships Ability to demonstrate specialist clinical expertise Sound working knowledge of guidelines in the field of respiratory care. Knowledge awareness of recent NHS policies/DoH agenda Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the holistic needs of the client group Ability to perform arterial / arterialised / capillary blood gas sampling and interpret the results Key Attributes

Committed to respiratory care Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010) Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. £51,883 to £58,544 a year per annum inclusive of HCAS (pro rata)
