As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise on a variety of projects and programs for exciting new technologies in the field of Alternative Position, Navigation, and Timing Systems. You will use your expert knowledge of systems design, integration, and architecture development to support breakthrough product development. You will serve as the focal point for systems architecture development and integration with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists. You will also support new business opportunities and pursuits with an integrated sales, business, and technical team. Key Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics Minimum of 3 years of experience working in systems design in an aerospace R&D environment or similar field Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and customers WE VALUE

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably in Electrical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering) or a related field Master’s Degree in Engineering Strong understanding of aerospace regulations, standards, and certification processes (e.g., DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754) In-depth knowledge of avionics systems, including flight control systems, navigation systems, communication systems, and electrical systems Knowledge of Inertial, GPS, or Alternative PNT sensors Familiarity with avionics hardware and software development processes, including design, development, verification, and validation Experience with Digital Engineering Concepts, MBSE, Digital Twin, Digital Thread Knowledge of avionics communication protocols and standards (e.g., ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, CAN bus) Experience with system-level testing and verification techniques, including test plan development, test execution, and test report generation Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems, identify issues, and propose effective solutions Understanding of configuration management principles and tools for maintaining traceability and controlling changes in avionics systems Relevant certifications in systems engineering or avionics (e.g., INCOSE CSEP, RTCA/DO-178C DAL A/B training) Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
