Advanced Theatre Practitioner - Scrub/Recovery Vacancies in Urology/Recovery/Colorectal Band 6 (37.5 hours per week) Croydon University Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and motivated individual to join the Theatre team as a Theatre Practitioner. We are particularly interested in candidates with theatre scrub experience in most specialties and recovery, as well as some leadership skills. Demonstrate a commitment to developing yourself and support the various teams. You will act as a role model for others, promoting best practice and delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Working in Theatre, you will be rotated through different specialties, including Emergency and Trauma Orthopaedics, to ensure excellent patient care is maintained throughout the patient's pathway. Recovery staff will be working in elective, emergency, and external areas such as IR, Endoscopy, etc. We are a very close-knit and friendly organization where every one of our 3600 member staff are valued. The successful candidate will be part of the clinical team who ensure that clinical care of patients and others using the services receive an efficient and quality service. Prepare the clinical areas (theatre) to receive patients for surgical procedures. Work in recovery to treat post-operative patients. Provide scrub assistance to the surgeon during surgical procedures. Assist in patient positioning. Ensure all documentation on the IT system is accurately inputted into the system in accordance with Trust and departmental policy and procedures. Maintain a clean working environment. About us
