The team is now looking to expand into the pinnacle of motorsport through our Andretti Cadillac Team. Job Description: We have an opportunity for an Aero Data Quality Engineer to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role, you will work within a group of engineers to provide input to the Aero Performance & Correlation Group, specifically in the field of correlation across our wind tunnel, CFD, and track data whilst ensuring that the data acquired in each environment is accurate and reliable. Principal Accountabilities: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of aero performance data collected from wind tunnel tests, CFD simulations, and on-track telemetry. Develop and implement data validation and quality control processes to maintain high standards of data integrity. Collaborate with aerodynamicists, engineers, and data scientists to identify and resolve data quality issues. Conduct regular audits and reviews of data quality processes to ensure continuous improvement as part of the wider correlation project. Work closely with other members of the Aero Performance group and other engineering groups. Provide a flexible attendance and attitude to work, in line with the requirements for the role and specific project requirements. Requirements: A degree in a relevant discipline (Aerodynamics/Aeronautics or similar). Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within the motorsport industry. A good understanding of aerodynamics is required, with a keen attention to detail and must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of data acquisition methods in an aerodynamic test environment. Good coding skills in a mathematical language (e.g. Python). Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
