to join a bespoke precision engineering company that has been successfully operating for over 50 years. The Management of cost-effective manufacture, which is quality controlled to the requirements of the AS13100 and Sabre 4 requirements. Coordinating management policies throughout the company as well as statutory and regulatory requirements. Responsible for overseeing and optimising manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality and efficiency and continuous improvement strategies within the company. Creating and executing the commercial strategy, identifying new areas of growth, and developing a growing client base. Price up and quote for work to prospective and current customers in line with current market trends and company policy. Reporting to Managing Director , the successful candidate will have direct management responsibility for: Production Manager, (Milling Section, Turning Section, Grinding Section, Machine Operators and Apprentices). Experience Minimum of 6 years plus experience working in an Aerospace Engineering/Manufacturing related industry. Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience of customer account management, including experience of pricing and quoting for work, and growing a customer base. Experience of working with an enterprise resource planning system, such as SAP, Tricorn, Microsoft Dynamics, or Business Central. Proven track record of working in a leadership and team management role. Excellent customer relations and customer service. Proven record of sales management. Experience of forging relationships with new and existing customers. Experience of AS 13100D and Sabre 4. Working to tight deadlines and within budget. Skills Strong understanding of precision aerospace manufacturing processes and quality assurance. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to drive process improvements. Commercial and Customer account management skills. Health and Safety. Person Effective communication and interpersonal skills at all levels. Dynamic. Self-motivated and motivating. Positive mindset.
