Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to determine health status and needs.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient diagnoses.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Engage in clinical research activities to contribute to advancements in medical knowledge.
Utilise medical imaging techniques as necessary for accurate diagnosis.
Provide support and guidance to patients and their families regarding health management, particularly in home care settings.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Participate in public health initiatives aimed at improving community health outcomes.
Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine.
Proven experience in patient care, preferably within senior care or nursing home environments.
Knowledge of anatomy and proficiency in medication administration practices.
Familiarity with clinical research methodologies is advantageous.
Experience working in intensive care units (ICU) is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
