They enjoy playing football, gaming, cooking and looking after their pet snake. The child has autism and needs close supervision due to poor motor skills and emotional dysregulation.
Main duties: After-school supervision, activities included but not limited to: Playing football, trampolining or cycling when it’s sunny and Xbox or board games when it’s raining. Being creative, maybe doing science experiments or some baking. Providing a light meal. These duties may vary from day to day.
Essential Skills, qualifications and experience: A friendly person who has a good sense of humour, with the ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect. Flexible, adaptable and easy-going. Experience of working with neurodiverse children. Must like animals! We have a pet dog and pet snake.
Desirable: Driving licence Childcare or Education Qualification Has an understanding of attachment issues
