Job Description: Nova Talent Solutions are currently recruiting for a Qualified, dedicated and caring After School Club Supervisor to join a fantastic setting working with children aged 4-7 years. As Before and After School Club Supervisor, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations and management of a before and after school club. Managing and directing a small team, you will ensure the safe and organised running of the club, fully supported by your Manager. Every weekday, the Before and After School Club Manager will supervise a before and after school club where you and your team will directly organise, deliver and participate in, activities with the children in your care. You will provide a safe and secure environment for the children in your care to explore, grow and have FUN! You will support children in their literacy by helping them to complete their daily reading. Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Before and After School Club. Use our online registering system - all training provided. Develop a thorough understanding of the programme of activities and deliver activities accordingly to children each morning and afternoon, directing colleagues as appropriate. Have awareness of, and maintain sensitivity for, any children with additional needs. Organise the shopping or delivery of food and drink according to the Menu for the Before and After School Club. Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & policies & procedures, including safeguarding, and communicate any concerns to the Safeguarding Officer in a timely fashion. Carry out risk assessments & complete all relevant operational paperwork. Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each session. Carry out cleaning duties as necessary. Support the manager with any Ofsted inspections. Requirements: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent. Good standard of English and Maths (GCSE A-C or equivalent). Paediatric First Aid certification. Desirable: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
