Aftermarket Engineer / Manager We are delighted to be working alongside a leading Engineer company to recruit a Aftermarket Engineer Our client has grown from strength to strength over the past few years and is now looking to add to their team due to company growth. The post holder will be responsible for providing timely engineering input to the Customer Support team to rectify issues reported in-service. The post holder will also act as a focal point between the Customer Support department and other departments for all technical queries. The job role: Providing excellent customer service to customers Lead continuous improvement initiatives through: weekly aggregation and reporting of warranty cost data & critical issues to Senior Leadership. Quarterly product improvement discussions with Engineering & Production to relay observed and reported items. Continuous engagement with the Commercial Team to ensure a seamless customer experience from point of sale to commissioning and long-term support. Liaising with Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Configuration, Design, Certification and Customer Support on a daily basis Creating Engineering Change Requests and Service Bulletins to implement design changes on current in-service programs Creating Service Information Letters to provide advisory information or maintenance clarification for current in-service programs. Communicating with the customer to help resolve specific issues Essential Criteria for the role: A good level of technical knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problems Degree or relevant experience in an Engineering discipline Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders Ability to clearly convey technical content in the written form, particularly in the form of part instructions Demonstrated success in solving problems A minimum of 3 years experience within a Manufacturing or Engineering discipline You will receive: A highly competitive salary, health cash plan (including Perks Discount).
