About us:
GOC Care is an experienced Community Service Provider that has been caring for the community for over 40 years. We provide community-based responses for people within the Brisbane Metropolitan, Brisbane North & South and Gold Coast Regions.
Our Care Workers are key members of our service delivery team, providing support including domestic assistance, personal care, social support, meal preparation, community access, transportation, and assisting our clients to lead fulfilling lives in the comfort of home. A large portion of this role is providing domestic assistance.
The role:
We are seeking a reliable Care Worker in northern Brisbane suburbs such as Stafford, Redcliffe and Arana Hills. The successful candidate will need to travel up to 30 kilometers between clients. Travel time is paid, along with a mileage allowance.
Our ideal candidate will have availability weekdays between the hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm.
Certificate III in Individual Support or similar
Current First Aid & CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain
Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain
Driver's licence and own reliable vehicle that is registered
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
