Transform delivery and drive agile excellence as we scale fast and change the pet food game at Tails.com. Ready to make an impact? Changing the world of pet food for good We’re Tails.com, a dog food subscription company with a big difference. We create truly tailored food for each and every dog we serve. We start by asking people a few simple questions about their dog. Then we use that information to create their dog’s unique Tails.com recipe – so their dog gets exactly the nutrition they need, in the taste they love, delivered to their door every month. It’s clever stuff.

We’ve got bold plans. Having created an entirely new category in pet food, we’re now scaling fast in the UK and Europe – backed by Purina, one of the world’s largest pet food companies. You’ll join a bunch of smart people working towards the same goals – and a bunch of smart-ish dogs, all working on their own thing.

Together, we’ll change the world of pet food for good. Shape agile success across Product and Engineering As an Agile Delivery Manager, you’ll join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to delivering innovative, tailored solutions for dogs and their owners. Our Engineering and Product teams work hand-in-hand, combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of customer needs to build scalable, impactful products.

You’ll play a key role in embedding agile practices, driving delivery excellence, and ensuring alignment across squads, Product, and Engineering. Together, we foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, shaping the future of pet care while staying true to our mission of changing the world of pet food for good. The role We are looking for an Agile Delivery Manager with a hands-on approach to embedding agile practices and driving successful delivery across our engineering and product teams. This role will be integral to our growth, as it supports and empowers our squads to achieve optimal performance and alignment with the company’s goals. You will act as a coach, influencer, and the connective force between Product and Engineering. You will be responsible for: Embedding agile practices within the squads, including defining standards such as Definition of Ready and Definition of Done and Jira workflows. Supporting squads in day-to-day operations, reinforcing agile best practices and fostering continuous improvement. Championing a Culture of Innovation across the teams and delivery practices. Acting as an agile coach, developing agile capabilities within teams and throughout the organisation. Defining and owning reporting standards, creating a clear, aggregated view of squad performance, CAPEX/OPEX reporting, and delivery status. Ensuring consistent and insightful reporting to inform decision-making across all squads, supporting visibility for stakeholders at all levels. Owning the release process, coordinating and managing releases across squads to ensure timely, aligned delivery. Overseeing dependencies and facilitating readiness for releases across all teams. Serving as the "glue" between Product and Engineering, ensuring clarity in delivery expectations, reporting, and timelines. Promoting transparency and communication between squads, Product, and other departments. Influencing agile adoption at all levels, helping leaders and teams embrace agile principles tailored to our needs. Collaborating with the PMO to align agile roadmaps with company-level, waterfall-style projects, balancing dependencies and timelines. Driving the integration of agile practices with PMO processes, aiding our transition to a more agile framework. The experience you'll bring: Proven experience in hands-on agile implementation and coaching within dynamic, tech-oriented teams. Proven experience in concurrent delivery of both transformational and product-enhancement initiatives. Strong track record managing release processes, agile ceremonies, and reporting standards. Familiarity and experience with Jira for managing agile workflows, sprint tracking, and reporting. Collaborative mindset with the ability to bridge communication and delivery between Product and Engineering. Strategic influence to coach and inspire teams, stakeholders, and senior leaders on agile best practices. Experience collaborating with PMO functions and integrating agile and waterfall projects. Certified Scrum Master or equivalent agile qualification, or significant experience in a Scrum Master role is desirable. What's in it for you? Competitive salary, reviewed annually Annual bonus, based on company performance Flexible core hours, giving you true work life balance Hybrid role to ensure this role works for you 25 days of holiday (excluding bank holidays) which increases over time to a max of 27 days 9/10 day working week to enhance your wellbeing without a reduction in pay and leave allowance Optional 5 days unpaid leave and 1 paid volunteer day each year When you need a change of scenery, you can work from abroad 2 weeks every 6 months Health insurance for you, paid by Tails.com Extended maternity, paternity, shared parental and adoption pay. 6 months at 70% pay Flexible paid care leave to support immediate dependants, people close to you and pets In house L&D team, with access to year round courses to help drive your development 50% discount on all Tails.com Discounted gym membership What’s next?
