Saturday 7am - 12pm every other week. Saturday afternoons, Sundays and evening work may be required, to keep up with work load or breakdowns. The Job Role Details: Join the team as an Experienced Agricultural Fitter, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our extensive range of vegetable and arable machinery operates at peak efficiency. Key Responsibilities: You will… Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and servicing of machinery, adhering to high standards of safety and efficiency. Respond to in-field breakdowns, minimising downtime for farm operations. Implement and oversee a robust 3-monthly Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule for all assets. Manage reactive maintenance tasks with speed, safety, and cost-effectiveness in mind. Keep detailed and accurate maintenance records to ensure compliance and continuity. Promote a safe and tidy work environment, including the correct use of PPE and adherence to Health and Safety standards. Collaborate effectively within the workshop team while taking initiative when needed. Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications: You will have / be… Proven experience in servicing and maintaining agricultural machinery or similar equipment. Strong general maintenance skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A clean and valid driving licence. Hydraulics experience. Welding and fabrication skills.
