Our client is a leading national law firm that is seeking an experienced 6+PQE Property Solicitor to join their agriculture team in Oxford, at the Managing Associate level. This presents a remarkable opportunity to collaborate closely with lead Partner and an esteemed, forward-thinking team. The team specialises in agricultural law, boasting both regional and national expertise in handling a wide range of high-value and intricate farming and land affairs. As a trusted legal advisor, the successful candidate will work collaboratively to leverage expertise, ensuring optimal legal and commercial solutions are consistently achieved. The strategic growth plan presents unique opportunities that may not be readily available elsewhere – not just for career advancement, but for assuming responsibilities and engagements that foster growth as a senior solicitor and a potential future leader within the organisation. What the firm seeks: The firm is particularly interested in individuals who can contribute to the continual expansion and enhancement of the Agricultural Property practice, as well as the broader Real Estate Group. The chosen candidate will take the lead on projects while providing supervision to junior team members, collaborating with various teams within the firm, including those in energy and development sectors. The ideal candidate should possess extensive senior-level experience in Rural affairs, poised to take the next stride in their careers. We anticipate that you will have circa 6+ years’ post-qualification experience in acting on property matters for agricultural and rural clients. With a strong regional presence, the ideal candidate should excel in building rapport and communication, establishing and nurturing trusted relationships with clients, and fostering enduring connections with key clients, referrers, and internal contacts. Actively engaging in various business development opportunities and possessing a deep understanding of clients’ commercial context will be pivotal. In return, the firm is fully committed to collaborating with the chosen candidate to unlock their potential and support them in achieving their career aspirations.
