Dorset and Somerset depots. Salary and Benefits Package: Paying up to £18 per hour depending upon experience. Auto-enrolment pension as standard. Company sick pay after 12 months service. Service van. Mobile phone. Tools and equipment appropriate to the service engineer function. 21 days holiday plus bank holidays. Additional information: This is a permanent full-time position. Working hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. Based at the depot in Dorset, but also carrying out own field-based service and repair work as well as visiting customers, suppliers and other depots as the job requires. At times the post-holder will be expected to perform duties outside of this job description in order to ensure the maintenance of a high-level service to our customers. About The Company: A specialist Agricultural Machinery Dealership covering the South West of England. The Job Role Details: As Agricultural Service Engineer you will carry out efficient diagnostic, repair, and service work both in the workshop and in the field, whilst assisting and offering guidance to the junior members of staff. Key Responsibilities: You will… Carry out efficient service and diagnostic work to a high standard. Operate in a clean and organised manner. Maintain and clean, tidy van. Responsible for van maintenance and service. Assist and guide lesser experienced engineers. Adherence to health and safety procedures. Accurate and full completion of job cards upon finishing jobs. Accurate and complete recording of time using timeclock system. Utilisation of diagnostic equipment. Effective communication with customers and colleagues. Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications: You will have / be… Experience working on Agricultural machinery. Ability to deliver high quality standards of workmanship. Meticulous and hard working. Good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems. Good understanding of IT systems. Self-motivated with strong organisational skills. Full UK Driving Licence.
