AI - Automation Engineer

to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving AI-driven solutions and automation processes that streamline workflows, reduce costs, and optimise processes across departments. Your key responsibilities will include: AI Solutions Development:

Design, develop, and deploy AI models to support intelligent automation. Automation Integration:

Build and integrate automation workflows using RPA tools, scripting, and other software to minimise manual work. Process Optimisation:

Assess, design, and implement AI-driven process improvements. Collaborate with Stakeholders:

Work closely with the Process Improvement Lead to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and deliver impactful solutions. System Maintenance:

Monitor, evaluate, and enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of AI and automation systems. Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed system documentation and provide regular reports on project progress and system performance. Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in AI or automation engineering. Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform, RPA tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere), and low-code AI tools. Knowledge of language models, machine learning fundamentals, and prompt engineering. Experience in API integration and implementing data privacy and security measures.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset. It would be advantageous if you have the following skills and qualifications: Experience deploying AI models in production. Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: AI Engineer Associate, Azure AI Fundamentals). Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices. Database knowledge (SQL/NoSQL). This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week, based in our Ipswich Head Offices on a hybrid work pattern (3 days office and 2 days home). Fred.
