AI Platform Developer

who will project lead the creation and development of a pioneering platform that will play a critical role in the process of helping organisations optimise human potential and enhance workforce development.

The Role

As AI Platform Developer, you will have the opportunity to use your skills and experience of APIs, Cloud and database technologies to design and build a platform for the identification of individual and team training and learning needs using an appropriate methodology, and an app to access the platform.

Your knowledge of .Net, SQL, MVC, JavaScript and HTML will serve you well as you collaborate with experts from both ENU and Fieri, to build a first-of-its-kind digital tool for conducting training needs analysis, enabling organisations to quickly gather accurate data on key people challenges.

We expect that you will have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to apply your knowledge to commercial projects, allowing you to identify user requirements, test app usability, and report app development findings to inform Fieri staff development.

Furthermore, your passion for data science/engineering, computer science (artificial intelligence) or web design and development will motivate you to take responsibility for managing and delivering the programme of work and give you the chance to lead a groundbreaking project that will set a new standard in learning technology.

Successful app development will see you at the heart of a project that will help develop a platform that uses the latest advancements in AI to significantly reduce the time and effort required to conduct training needs analysis, allowing companies to make data-driven, scalable, and impactful L&D decisions.

What We Will Need From You

Undergraduate qualification in data science/engineering, computer science (artificial intelligence) or web design and development

Knowledge of APIs, Cloud and database technologies

Experience in the use of .Net, SQL, MVC, JavaScript and HTML

Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form

An openness to receiving feedback and constructive suggestions for improvement

Ability to apply knowledge to commercial projects, drive value, and make an impact through problem-solving and creating innovative solutions

Benefits We Offer

Salary: £36,924 - £38,205 + Pension

Fixed Term: 25 months

Full Time: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Hybrid/Edinburgh

36 days (28 days flexible + 8 fixed) paid annual leave per annum
