You Are

A dynamic and knowledgeable Senior Systems Engineer with a broad understanding of the ML/AI system stack, from SW algorithms through advanced packaging to processor and I/O architectures. You understand the critical system requirements driving Data Center and Edge applications. You are interested in influencing the direction of Synopsys' state-of-the-art IP and tools. You have exceptional technical and interpersonal skills, enjoy interacting with customers and guiding them to success.

What You'll Be Doing Consult with Customer Architects and SoC Leads to understand current and future technical challenges. Help them architect solutions that incorporate leading edge silicon IP and system solutions to address their challenges. Provide insights derived from industry leading customers and AI scaling trends to drive requirements for next generation IP roadmaps. Develop technical papers and other knowledge assets to educate internal teams and establish industry thought leadership. Represent Synopsys at industry conferences and other events. Travel (~ 15-30%) to visit customer, sales and engineering locations. The Impact You Will Have Drive business growth by working with the sales and FAE team to differentiate the Synopsys IP solutions with a deep understanding of AI algorithms, system topologies and technology trends. Help to define the next generation of AI application aware IP products and solutions, working closely with Marketing and Design Engineering teams. What You'll Need Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. 15+ Years of experience as a design/system/applications engineer. Knowledge of interface, connectivity and memory protocols such as UCIe, PCIe, High Speed Ethernet, HBM and LPDDR. Solid knowledge of system modeling methodologies and tools, including performance analyses and low power technologies. Familiarity with state-of-art SoC design implementation including digital design and analog/mixed signal design flows. Familiarity with high-speed PCB layout, assembly and manufacturing, and Signal and Power Integrity (SIPI). Strong technical communication and organizational skills: Ability to understand and present complex technical requirements, problems, and solutions clearly and concisely in verbal and written communications. Ability to analyze, summarize and generate status updates from technical data. Ability to chair meetings with large multi-disciplinary teams. Prior experience in selecting, using, designing, or supporting internal or external IP. Prior experience in an application engineering or another direct customer facing role.
