Responsibilities Job Summary As a TNS AI Voice Product Manager, you will lead others to deliver true value based on customer-backed approaches, managing the full lifecycle of products and services.
Duties and Responsibilities Strategy and Planning (35%) Deliver business value to drive sales, improve efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction. Be the leader in delivering value, strategic vision, and product roadmaps for your designated products and services. Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for voice and AI products, from ideation to launch and beyond. Support business reviews and have the ability to present across all levels of the organization. Drive the product lifecycle from market development to market decline. Create product/business plans to determine product and service feasibility. Partner with functional and technical leaders to identify and plan capabilities necessary to meet short and long-term business needs. Develop and execute strategic plans in support of key objectives derived from the Balanced Scorecard. Drive business growth by applying domain expertise to provide thought leadership and translate vision into action. Evaluate research and market analysis, meet with third-party vendors, and maintain knowledge of industry innovations and technology platforms to inform the strategy for the product. Engage with customers through ongoing discussions and document these for strategic review. Operations (25%) Understand financial and business impact of proposed product updates and prioritize updates to support the roadmap. Drive product development by reviewing performance and directing work efforts of solution architects, development, and operations. Identify goals, metrics, and appropriate analytics to measure product performance and continually refine the product based on learnings. Resolve issues within or across product teams that may impair delivery of a quality product. Drive operational excellence to create internal customer satisfaction and meet product metrics. Work across legal teams to develop, review, and execute customer and third-party partner contracts. Create Non-Disclosure Agreements as necessary. Interpersonal (20%) Accept constructive feedback from team members. Actively listen to problem discussions and propose solutions. Contribute as a member of the project team. Behavior (20%) Be punctual, participative, and willing to help team members. Partner with various Communication Division members to create products and services. Articulate complex issues in writing and orally. Comprehend customer requirements to create appropriate product plans. Demonstrate excellent follow-through on commitments. Think outside the box to develop new products and services. Travel Requirements - Typically requires overnight travel 10% to 15% of the time. Preferred Qualifications Proficient in developing and maintaining product and service lifecycles. Proven experience as a Product Manager focused on voice and AI technologies. Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and voice recognition technologies. Proficient in defining, communicating, and driving value propositions and success metrics. Proficient in utilizing deep market and industry knowledge to achieve strategic objectives. Proficient in selecting and leading strategic vendor relationships. Preferred Experience and Education BS degree in Telecom or Business, MBA Preferred. More than 10 years' experience in Product Management. Strong background in Mobile and Fixed telecom networks. Understanding of SS7 & SIP call flows and PSTN interworking. Familiarity with voice assistants. Key Requirements 15+ years in the Communications industry or relevant experience. Excellent written and communication skills.
