About the role
We are currently looking to recruit a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to maintain a building within the Crawley area. The role will be responsible for dealing with the planned and preventative maintenance and repairs of all HVAC equipment in the building as well as other tasks asked for by the manager.
Principal Accountabilities The Air Conditioning Engineer would be responsible for undertaking HVAC and building maintenance works including PPM servicing, fault-finding, and reactive breakdown repairs to Air Conditioning building services systems and infrastructure as well as rectifying hot/cold issues by adjusting BMS systems. In addition, they will complete mechanical maintenance duties on belts, motors, valves, etc. They will also carry out minor installation work and will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders providing them fault diagnostics where necessary.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills • Proven building maintenance experience • Recognised NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning • F-GAS 2079 CAT1 • Be able to work at height, on roofs, up steps and ladders and in MEWPs • Ability to work with and control of the CAFM system via iPad
This is a permanent position, paying up to 42k. Previous experience in HVAC maintenance is essential.
