Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to build and implement new air conditioning solutions tailored to client needs. Lead projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Provide training and guidance to junior staff on best practices for equipment maintenance and repair. Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and any recommendations for future work.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning systems and components. Proficiency in maintaining and repairing various types of air conditioning equipment. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Experience in building custom solutions based on client specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness. Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and collaboration within the engineering team.
Our client is not looking for someone with years of experience, but more someone who can be sent out on their own to perform maintenance. This person should have a couple of years of experience and must possess F-Gas certification.
The majority of their work is in and around Oxfordshire, though they do have a few customers in the London area.
They offer a great team working atmosphere, a van, fuel cards, uniform, PPE, 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays increasing by a day a year up to 26 days, auto enrolment into pension, and training courses with Daikin and Mitsubishi. Paid door to door.
