Airfreight Import Operator
required for a freight forwarder in the Heathrow area. HYBRID working is available for this role, and the company offers a fantastic range of benefits. The role is set up for Hybrid working with a Laptop and Tablet provided. Parking on site is available for the days you are in the office. Salary: £29-31k.
The Role As an Airfreight Import Operator/Air Freight Forwarder, you will work closely with the pricing team, operations, business development managers, and agents to meet all operational requirements of the import section within the air freight division. Responsibilities include: Generating import customs entries whilst ensuring compliance with HMRC obligations. Assisting with administration tasks within the department, including job costing and invoicing for the import team. Ensuring all duty/tax payments made via FTS are collected and monitored. Performing all standard Airfreight Import Operator duties.
Experience We are looking for an Air Freight Import Operator who has around 2-3 years of experience within air freight, ideally within imports. You should have a working knowledge of customs clearance for imports within air freight, along with excellent time management skills to handle multiple urgent tasks while prioritizing your incoming workload.
Additional Information Salary: £29-31k (may be £32k) HYBRID WORKING AVAILABLE 25 days holiday Monday - Friday Training in office; thereafter hybrid (3 home / 2 office). Some weekend work (Saturday & Sunday) paid as overtime at time x 1.5.
