AIR QUALITY OFFICER 12 Months Fixed Term Contract Scale 4 £28,163 - £31,586 Per Annum Full Time, 37 hours per week An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Air Quality Officer to join our Environmental Services Team to deliver projects relating to air quality within the District of Blaby. Key Responsibilities: Implementation and delivery of a project funded by DEFRA, focusing on particulate matter within the district. Assisting the Council with the delivery of its Air Quality Action Plan. Review of smoke control areas in the district and associated policies and procedures. Providing a high quality, customer-focused service to achieve positive public health outcomes. Requirements: Meticulous work ethic with attention to detail. Excellent communication and IT skills.
