On behalf of our client, a specialist Aerospace fabrication and welding business, we're actively recruiting a number of Airframe Fitters to join their growing team in Manchester on a permanent basis. The Role
As an Airframe Fitter, you'll play a critical role in the assembly and structural fitting of aerospace components. Key responsibilities include: Assembling airframe and structural components to aerospace specifications. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and aerospace specifications. Performing key processes such as drilling, countersinking, riveting, and applying sealants. Fitting helicoils, bearings, bushes, and other precision components. About You
The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in aerospace airframe or structural assembly. The ability to accurately read and understand technical drawings and specifications. Hands-on experience with drilling, riveting, and sealant application processes. An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. The ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. What's On Offer
4 day working week - contracted 36 hours (Monday to Thursday). Overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays with uplifted rates of pay.
