Insolvency Solicitor . This role will join our client's team in London and will be dealing with contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters. They represent a large number of insolvency practitioners (based in London and nationally), litigation funders, and respondents facing claims arising from an insolvency process. Responsibilities will include: Handling all aspects of corporate insolvency including administration appointments (both in court and out of court appointments),
all
court applications under insolvency legislation, providing advice to IPs, secured lenders, and directors. Preparing business and asset sale and purchase agreements out of Administration. Dealing with all aspects of property-related transactions in insolvency. Dealing with insolvency-related litigation (in conjunction with our contentious insolvency team if required). Engaging in marketing, building a client base, and maintaining relationships with clients and referrers. Assisting the Team Leader to supervise a team and manage Junior Solicitors to ensure good client service delivery and compliance with regulatory policies and procedures. Assisting the team leader with the financial management of the team. Contributing towards marketing content for the firm's website and other social media channels. The Person: For this role, our client is seeking someone who is ideally at Senior Associate to Partner level, with at least 6 years PQE, who has experience managing non-contentious insolvency matters. Excellent commercial and drafting skills, with proven experience in non-contentious insolvency and/or commercial fields. Technically astute and well versed in the provisions of the Insolvency Act and Insolvency Rules. Good commercial judgment in terms of file and client management and achieving KPIs. Able to work in a busy team and support and develop other junior fee earners as required. Technologically competent and have experience of CRM and case management systems. Excellent organisation, management, and development skills. The Salary: Negotiable The Location: London EC1R (near Farringdon Station) Hybrid working.
