The successful candidate will be line managed by our Area Manager, and they will share responsibility for the support of the alternative curriculum intervention services offered by Oak Training across the North East. The successful candidate will report directly to the Blyth Centre Supervisor in supporting teaching by planning, preparing, and delivering lessons (one-to-two). Responsibilities:
Contact time supporting students (one-to-two) Plan, prepare and deliver lessons and facilitate educational programmes Check, record and assess work Maintain a positive learning environment by managing behaviour Liaise with parents, local authorities, and external agencies regarding student development, progress, and attainment Liaise with relevant community groups and external organisations Write and monitor Individual Learning Plans and Termly Progress Reports Monitor break, lunch, and extracurricular activities Attend staff meetings, conferences, and additional training For further information regarding the role, please contact Mark Grant at email:
