Our client is a world leader in Railway Rolling Stock assembly and manufacturing. The facility's activities use the latest manufacturing and computer analysis techniques, and a state-of-the-art paint plant. The facility is easily accessible via bus, car, and train and is located just off the A1. The nearest bus/train stop is just an 11-minute walk from the facility, with routes from Sunderland, Hartlepool, Durham, Teesside, and surrounding areas. With overtime work available, you have the opportunity to maximise your earnings. Back shift: Monday - Friday, 15:00 - 23:00. About you: Experienced with working on build/welding fixtures to tight tolerances Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team Accustomed to modern working practices e.g. following a standard work procedure Ability to carry out some manual lifting Work with a sense and awareness of safety at all times Previous experience of MIG/TIG Plating/Fabricating with aluminium Application process: Applicants will need to pass a skills test This is an ongoing, long-term temporary contract role.
