Ristara Engineering is working in partnership with a renowned marine company that has been designing and building workboats for over 30 years in South West Wales, specializing in pilot boats, patrol boats, work boats, and wind farm support vessels. They are known for their quality workmanship and extensive marine knowledge, offering new boat builds, refits, maintenance, and repair.

Due to an opening for an Aluminium Welder/Fabricator to join their already established team, candidates will require welding experience for the site in Pembroke Docks.

Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks (Disclosure & Barring Service) may be required. Please note that at this time we do not offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Day-to-day duties for a Welder/Fabricator include:

Using hand and machine tools Welding of metal fabricated items using MIG/TIG Working with aluminium and some steel and stainless steel assemblies Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings Ensuring work meets quality standards for the end product

Knowledge/Experience required: Apprenticeship or similar training as a fabricator/welder with proof of previous coding within the last 3 years Experience in Aluminium Welding Experience working with a wide range of instructions/drawings requiring some interpretation Ability to work as part of a team to achieve quality standards and meet production deadlines Ability to work well with minimal supervision
