Birmingham-based (hybrid working model: 2-3 days from home per week) Salary:

£40,000 - £45,000 + Package + CIPS Sponsorship An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled procurement professional to join a leading organisation focused on public sector procurement. This role, ideal for an ambitious procurement specialist, offers the chance to make a real impact while contributing to national workforce initiatives, including controlling agency spend, insourced services, and international recruitment. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing process for key product categories, including market research, supplier engagement, and contract negotiations. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels, delivering presentations and ensuring alignment on procurement strategies. With a strong focus on development and training, this role offers plenty of opportunities for career progression. Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full procurement lifecycle for assigned categories, including sourcing strategies, RFP/ITT processes, and contract negotiations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and present category strategies and supplier awards. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers, focusing on value-driven outcomes. Oversee project timelines and deliver high-quality procurement initiatives. Key Skills & Experience:

Experience managing the end-to-end procurement process, ideally within healthcare or the public sector (though not essential). Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier management. Proficient in Microsoft Office and e-Procurement systems.
