Transport non-emergency patients to and from Hospitals in and around Leicestershire. The patients are either unable to get to and from vital appointments or returning home following admission to hospital. The role involves driving and transferring patients with varying needs and mobility requirements. Infection control is a must, and there is a willingness to work as part of a team and use one's own initiative. The role involves manual handling, so a good level of fitness is required. Career progression through the FREC training pathway is available once the probationary period is completed. The main focus of the role is to provide safe, comfortable, timely, and professional transport while delivering the very highest standards of care. This role allows you to make a real difference to our service users. We are looking for both permanent full-time and part-time individuals, working a varied work pattern to cover our operational needs. Must be able to adapt to the changing operational needs. Must be eligible to work in the UK, be able to drive, and have an enhanced DBS.
