More about the role:Overall Purpose of the Role
  • To ensure the smooth planning and delivery of the food and beverage service within the Amex Lounge to our client and customers
  • To achieve operating standards that exceed the guest's expectations through strong leadership and effective management.
  • To manage the business needs and performance standards in line with the Core Signatures guidelines, Client Service Level Agreements and KPI's
  • Ensure the smooth delivery of a first-class catering product and service to our clients and customers within the Amex Lounge
  • To demonstrate full alignment to our Levy UK vision and values by creating and living the Levy Difference through delivering Legendary Experiences & Powerful Partnerships
Key Accountabilities
Health and Safety
  • To maintain H&S compliance and lead a health & safety culture.
  • To personally demonstrate that you take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others.
  • To ensure the compliance with all Responsible Service of Alcohol processes and RSA incident log handover is reported at the end of every event.
People
  • Complete all sign in sheets, ensuring breaks are recorded and taken in line with working time regulations.
  • Support your line manager in recruitment, inductions, training and development of the variable labour in accordance with the needs of your area of responsibility.
  • Actively communicates with all area supervisors and team members to build positive team morale, completing pre-shift briefings.
  • Ensure that all staff incentives and engagement tools are fully utilized.
  • Manage the performance of any direct reports.
  • Identify training needs of individuals and carry out required training as necessary and in conjunction with the team, ensuring all staff are trained on menu and wine choices, as well as upselling techniques and how to use the till system.
Financials
  • Maximise sales opportunities and positively contribute to the sales activities within Amex Lounge
  • Actively up sell each request to maximise revenue and profitability, as well as helping to guide and brief staff to do the same.
  • Investigate and monitor all card variances, ensuring and variances are logged and reported to the Operational Data Analysis Manager
  • Ensure all end of day procedures are completed and tills closed correctly at the end of each shift.
  • Support your Line Manager in the achievement of sales revenue and targets for the department.
  • Demonstrate excellent control of all operating costs in line with set targets as advised by Amex Lounge Manager
  • Makes personal recommendations based on knowledge and experience to improve products and service.
Client Relations
  • Actively maintains day-to-day contact with the area event managers to establish strong working relationships.
  • Support Amex Lounge Manager to meet the needs of clients and deliver first class service to guests.
