Calibration Engineer (Lab Based) AML Instruments Ltd
is a long established, growing & ambitious UKAS accredited calibration & test equipment company. We are seeking a further lab-based calibration engineer to add to our existing team. We are interested in hearing from candidates with a sound mechanical or electrical calibration background, particularly those with experience in force or electrical calibration. The Role Providing a largely lab-based calibration service across a wide range of disciplines: mass, dimensional, electrical, rheology, torque, temperature, optical, force, and pressure.
(Training available for areas the candidate is not experienced in) Benefits Monday to Friday with flexibility on hours worked Laptop Uniform Progression within our growing and ambitious company Overtime is sometimes available Training both initially and ongoing Virtual 24/7 GP appointments & mental health support & counselling Pension Life Insurance Salary: £25,000.00 - £35,000 per year, with the possibility of overtime and other incentives Possible relocation package for the right candidate What We Are Looking For Experience in at least two of our calibration disciplines, ideally with a minimum of two years of experience Adaptability and persistence, as you will be calibrating a large variety of instruments and equipment Good understanding of calibration practices and theories Good IT skills Attention to detail Desirable: knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Experience in a customer-focused environment Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage your own workload Ideally, a full driving licence with 3 points or less Ideally living within 30 mins of Lincoln; however, candidates from further afield will be considered
