Anaesthetic Nurse focuses on assist in administering anaesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures whilst monitoring patients throughout the procedure.

What the role involves

• Assist in administering anaesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures whilst monitoring patients throughout the procedure.
• Preparing the anaesthesia machine, medications, and other necessary equipment.
• Assessing the patient’s medical history and physical condition to determine the appropriate anaesthesia plan.
• Monitoring the patient’s vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, throughout the process.

• Relevant care, clinical, support, registration, DBS, or safeguarding requirements may apply.
