Installation Analysis Engineers

Office location for the role is Aberdeen, UK Higher education (bachelor's/master's degree) and/or relevant work experience. Working understanding of DNV-ST-N001, DNV-RP-N103 Flexible product installation analysis and lay table development Lifting analysis for complex lifts (e.g. vessel to vessel and subsea) Modelling of hydrodynamic forces acting on floating bodies and lifted equipment in the splash zone In-place analysis of flexibles e.g. UBH and moorings Understanding of ship motions and development of RAOs Excellent reporting skills and a proven ability to translate complex results into plain English Use of software such as: Orcaflex, including automation using Python Orcawave Rhino (ship hull surface modelling for RAO development) MS Excel and Word Fluency in English; The position reports to the UK Engineering Manager.
