The FIG DCM team based in London is looking for an Analyst to support the Origination team to cover European Banks and Insurance clients. For one of the two analyst roles we are hiring for in FIG DCM, the coverage universe will also include Spanish FIG clients. The role requires close and ongoing collaboration with all Investment Banking product teams, Syndicate, ESG, Strategic Solutions, and Sector and Coverage Bankers to capitalize on opportunities and ensure the coverage team delivers a best-in-class service to clients. Key Accountabilities The role includes all aspects related to FIG DCM coverage such as: Preparing presentation and marketing materials to cover market, regulatory, and pricing developments. Assisting in the deal execution and approval process. Support in issuer coverage to understand financing needs, market access, timing, execution strategy, and asset class selection. Engaging with client counterparties as appropriate. Supporting the team in daily tasks such as daily market updates and weekly new issue pricing. Support in the new issue execution process: approvals, process management, post-transaction administration tasks. Skills & Experience DCM knowledge or experience. Good analytical and numerical skills. Appetite to work in the dynamic and fast-paced fixed income market. Attention to detail and dependability. Ability to learn fast. Ability to think laterally, not just process requests. Ability to engage with peers at a junior and senior level.
