8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (there may be some flexibility in this, if required). Why join?

6 month contract (could be extended or made permanent). Salary:
Up to £30k per annum (depending on your skills and experience). You will be involved in: Testing of raw, in-process and final materials to ensure timely release of products. Use of analytical GC, GC-FID, NIR and wet chemistry techniques (specifically titrations). Advise the plant of any OOT/OOS results to ensure batches are being made correctly. Write reports on the analysis carried out for CofAs. Ensure that the testing done is carried out to the required standard (ISO, GMP, HACCP). What do you need to be considered? Working knowledge of Gas Chromatography (GC or GC-FID), NIR instrumentation and general wet chemistry techniques. Previous experience working in an accredited laboratory to one of the following standards: UKAS, GMP, GLP, MHRA, FDA ISO9001 etc. Science qualification (to degree level ideally) within Chemistry, Biochemistry or related.
