THE ROLE Looking for a challenge in one of the world's largest airfreight logistics organisations and a FTSE 100 company?
A new role due to the growth of the analytics function within the business, with a focus on commercial performance.
Become a vital part of a passionate team enabling the business to make critical decisions using leading-edge data analytics. Bring a new perspective on data and how it can solve challenges across the organisation. Your output will be essential in enabling insight-driven decision-making.
The role involves managing a small team (approximately 4) to deliver leading-edge data exploitation, analysis, and modelling. Your team will own a portfolio of reports, models, and dashboards, provide analytical expertise, and act as champions for data development needs. You will lead the team to deliver robust and reliable data and advanced analytical solutions while maintaining the quality of management information through continuous improvement.
The Analytics and Data Science Lead should have a strong enthusiasm for problem-solving and a passion for data. They will be expected to provide analytical expertise, identify data gaps, and proactively develop the data agenda in line with business priorities, as well as challenge business leaders to become truly data-driven. A positive thinker with plenty of curiosity would be ideal for this role.
