As an Analytics Engineer at gocertify, you will have the unique opportunity to build and lead our entire data function. We are a fast-growing, profitable, and bootstrapped startup, looking for a talented individual who can turn our growing data assets into valuable insights that drive real business decisions. Our company, gocertify, helps retailers increase profitability through smarter and more meaningful rewards. We have a proven track record of success, with over 450 trusted brands such as Samsung and Sainsbury’s, and 2 million+ shoppers using our technology to drive over £60 million in retail sales annually. We are also proud to be a diverse and inclusive team, constantly striving to improve our approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion. As our Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting our data stack, including tools such as BigQuery, DBT, Fivetran, and Metabase. You will be the driving force behind turning complex business questions into elegant data solutions, building and maintaining data models, and creating dashboards and reports that help us identify and solve problems. Additionally, you will work closely with teams across the company, shaping our data strategy as we continue to grow and explore AI/ML possibilities. To be successful in this role, you will need a proven track record in data analytics/engineering, preferably in a startup or scaleup environment. You should be a SQL wizard with experience in modern data stack tools and have a knack for turning complex business questions into elegant data solutions. Strong communication skills and a self-starter mentality are also essential in our fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. We offer a competitive salary, meaningful EMI share options, and a range of benefits, including private health insurance, enhanced sick pay, and a work-from-home budget. We also value work-life balance and offer flexible remote work options. As an equal-opportunity employer, we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of race, gender, disability, religion, belief, sexual orientation, or age. If you are passionate about building a data function that powers every aspect of a fast-growing startup and want to join a diverse and inclusive team, we encourage you to apply. Please note, this role is UK-based, and you must have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship. We look forward to hearing from you!
